MoEHE Celebrates Success of “My Values Draw My Identity” Project 2024–2025

Doha, Qatar – The Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MoEHE), through the Department of Private Schools and Kindergartens and in collaboration with the Pioneer Generation Education Center, held the closing ceremony of the 2024–2025 edition of the “My Values Draw My Identity” project.

The event took place at the Ministry’s headquarters in the presence of H.E. Dr. Ibrahim bin Saleh Al Naimi, Undersecretary of the Ministry; Mr. Omar Abdul Aziz Al Naama, Assistant Undersecretary for Private Education Affairs; along with senior officials, school principals, and representatives from various ministries and organizations involved in the project.

The initiative aims to strengthen national identity, preserve community customs and traditions, and instill a sense of belonging to the homeland. In addition, the project promotes awareness about digital safety, online privacy, and cybersecurity. It also seeks to protect students’ physical and psychological well-being, promote tolerance and respect, and shield young learners from negative external influences while fostering a safe, inclusive school environment.

In his address, Al Naama emphasized that the project proves values are not just slogans, but rather a way of life, education, and identity. He praised the full participation of private schools and kindergartens, which collaborated with 20 national entities, reflecting a successful model of integrated educational partnerships.

“Honouring our loyal partners, distinguished schools, committed students, and supportive parents confirms that this success stems from our shared belief that building strong individuals is key to national progress,” he stated.

The ceremony included a poem by student Mubarakah Al Marri, which was warmly received, and a video highlighting the significance of teaching values and ethics in education.

Looking ahead to the 2025–2026 academic year, the Ministry introduced the project’s new student ambassadors, who were presented with the “My Values Draw My Identity” charter by Dr. Rania Mohamed, Director of the Department of Private Schools and Kindergartens. This marked a pioneering initiative in expanding student engagement.

The event concluded with the recognition of the Pioneer Generation Education Center as the project’s strategic partner, along with honours presented to participating ministries, institutions, and private schools that made notable contributions to the project’s success over the past year.
