Doha, Qatar – The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change (MECC) has successfully rescued multiple falcons, ensuring they received prompt veterinary attention before being released back into their natural environment.
In a post shared on X earlier today, June 2, 2025, the Ministry published images of the rescued birds and acknowledged the role of vigilant citizens who reported the distressed falcons via the Ministry’s hotline. The birds were reportedly exhibiting signs of exhaustion, likely brought on by high temperatures.
Acting swiftly, the Ministry mobilized its field teams in response to the alert, ensuring immediate intervention and care for the falcons.
This effort is part of MECC’s ongoing initiatives to preserve Qatar’s rich biodiversity and underscores the nation’s broader commitment to wildlife conservation.
